OBHF offers Girls Ball Hockey Virtual Workout
Here’s something that sounds like fun.
The OBHF – in an effort to get more girls interested in ball hockey – will hold a virtual work out Saturday, March 27, 10 to 11 a.m.
The workout was developed by VirtualHockey.com along with Michael Del Zotto from the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the event has been put together by the OBHF’s Danielle Close.
With spring around the corner, the idea is to get more girls excited about the game.
“It is more important than ever that we find a way to keep our girls engaged and thinking about sport, especially those who are thinking of the game of ball hockey,” says Close, the women’s VP for the OBHF.
There will be prizes, plus a chance to ask U20 Girls Team Canada players questions about their experiences with the game.
It’s all free. All you have to do is register.
