Provincial Coaches Applications

With another successful house league and provincial championship season wrapped up, Withrow Park Ball Hockey League would like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in becoming a head coach for one our 2024 provincial teams. Please apply via email to withrowballhockey@gmail.com by September 30, 2023.

 

In a brief email, please let us know the following:

 

• Team you are applying for (list below)
• If applicable, your child’s name, date of birth, current provincial team
• An outline of your coaching experience and any certifications you may have
• Your general coaching philosophy and your strengths
• Two References (at least one from the WPBHL community)

List of 2023 Teams
(There is no guarantee that both A and B teams will be formed in every age group. This determination will be made during tryouts):

Co-ed Teams: U8A, U10A, U10B, U12A, U12B, U14A, U14B, U16A, U16B, U18A
Girls Teams: U10A, U10B, U12A, U12B, U15A, U15B, U18A, U18B

Naming of Coaches
The WPBHL All-Star Convenors will review applications in October and name the provincial head coaches in mid-November after tournament dates and locations are confirmed by the OBHF.
Assistant coaches and team managers are selected by the head coach of each team.
